At HWBTA, we are committed to respecting your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how these laws apply to you and how you can exercise your rights.
Scope and Applicability
The CCPA/CPRA applies to California residents. While HWBTA is an informational blog with no user registration or account system, we may collect certain personal information automatically through website analytics, cookies, and server logs. This includes IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and usage patterns. We do not sell or share your personal information for monetary or valuable consideration.

 - Right to Non-Discrimination: You will not be denied services, charged different prices, or receive a different quality of service for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.
 - Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

How We Comply
We do not maintain databases of personal information. Any data collected is limited to anonymous analytics and log files used solely to improve site performance and user experience. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or financial information unless voluntarily submitted through our contact form.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of personal information is based on legitimate business interests, including website functionality, security, analytics, and improving content relevance. We do not rely on consent for these activities under CCPA/CPRA.
